Have you been to some soccer matches that ended with NO GOALS and everyone, including the spectators went home “glum”? What a BORING match!! Worst still, you bet on the loosing team and LOOSE money!
In life, everyone is looking to SCORE life’s goals of SUCCESS; we want success, it drives us… whether it may be scoring goals or closing a sales deal or making $500,000/year in a full time living. It makes our life tick… not the usual boring stuff.
If you notice, all the players ACHIEVE their SUCCESS having
- top-notched skills – Of course, the players must have talent to reach where they are now, but talent can always be cultivated;
- hard work and training – It took them YEARS of hard work and training to be where they are now. It takes time to succeed. Success is not about winning a one-time LOTTERY!
- a “never-say-die” attitude – We all need to have a great attitude to carry our dreams and successes forward in life.
- team support – Without the support of mid-fielders, defenders or even the goalkeeper, the goal scorer would not have scored his goal!
- a dedicated coach or mentor – a good coach or mentor makes the difference in believing in you; to push and drive you forward to success.
