Now, how about that for Google organic results ranking. To be frank, I’m amazed myself and from Google Analytics, nowadays the percentage of traffic from search engine, Google, MSN, Yahoo is about 45.03%, Direct Traffic 29.47% and Referring Sites 25.50%. Therefore, whenever I take a break from blogging sometimes… I still see traffic from search engines coming to my blog which is quite amazing.

So, you must be asking how to achieve this? Well, ask Google. Hehehee… ok, I will share my opinions here but no one actually knows how Google and other search engines indexes and rank web pages. Anyway, here are some suggestions to rank high in Google organic search results for that keyword and phrases:

1. Write keyword rich articles. Meaning have a wide range of keywords. When Google goes through your blog post or articles, they must at least contain substantial content with rich keywords related to the topic. If you notice, I normally write a long blog post (usually > 500 words). It is your preference to write long or short posts. It’s either you write longer and less frequent or shorter posts but more frequent. Your choice. But, I prefer the long one.

2. Write great and catchy Titles. I cannot over-emphasize the importance of great titles. And, of course titles becomes keywords and phrases that tells Google and the other search engines what your article is all about. Titles also grab your readers attention and get them to click the article link. So, take your time to think of a great article title. Tip: try starting titles with numbers like 8 Steps To Making $100 In Article Marketing.

3. Create backlinks to your articles. More backlinks, the article ranking goes higher. How? Social bookmarking, article submission to Ezinearticles, etc. or links exchange with other blogs.

4. Keep writing your articles. When the articles grow old, you will notice that their rank will also pull back. One article that ranks high on Page #1 in 2 months may be only ranking on Page #3. My tip on this is to continue to write your articles. Post them to ezinearticles because ezine is a good source of targeted traffic and makes your blog post come alive with readers.

In summary, it is really Content and Links in Google’s or the other search engine’s vocabulary that makes the difference in your blog post or article ranking on SERP. For sure you WILL get traffic clicks when your articles or post are rank especially on Page #1 for that keyword and phrase that your article is targeting.
