6 Red Hot Tips In Article Marketing

Google Loves Articles! Period. If you haven’t notice by now. Well, you can say, what about video sites, etc. but if you are an Internet Marketer, you cannot run away from writing or working with articles.

The more frequent you write, and the more unique the articles are, the better for your site to rank higher in Google. To some people, writing articles seems like a chore or work to start with. But, articles are a means of communication to readers, and the purpose is to impart some message and information to your valued readers.

I recently have lapsed on posting on my blog… it’s a human thing… sometimes these things get the hold of us go, be it priorities, busy-ness, sense of giving up, laziness or difficulties, etc. But, we have to bounce back and get right up. I heard something this week that jolted me:

In a race, if you don’t run, you won’t win… If you won’t market, you won’t sell!

Well, if you have a blog or website, and you think you will get by without writing articles. Think again… ultimately, your site will start to loose it readers and traffic and it can die a slow death. Some quick, few articles can start to liven up your blog or site… and let Google knows your site is back in business!

Yes, articles have to be written to be read.

Now, It’s just a matter of making them good. Making a good article does not need to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points and guidelines to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles can in fact, be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site.

Then you might ask… I can’t think of anything to write. Writing articles must be about something you know about. That’s why if you own a blog, you most probably are most knowledgeable about your blog theme or niche. When you write a blog post, you won’t have a hard time (or spend 2 days maybe) because you are an expert in that field you are writing about.

Now… it’s just a matter of making your articles creative and interesting.

Now, to make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed, here are 6 red hot tips to get your articles read. These tips will make your articles readable and interesting.

1. Use short paragraphs.

When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader just looking at it. It gets really confusing with too many words to look at and makes reading hard. Readers tend to skim through articles and paragraphs.

They disregard huge paragraphs and move on to much easier paragraphs and try to spot keywords and phrases that interest them in a paragraph. Remember… paragraphs can be a single sentence, sometimes even a single word!

2. Make use of numbers or bullets.

Numbers or bullets structure your articles. Your readers will know what your article is all about at a glance. Each point, tip, guide or method let the readers know that this is where the tips start. You can indent your bullets so that your articles won’t look like a single block of square paragraphs.

3. Use sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page.

Doing this will break each point into sections but still would be incorporated into one whole article. It would also be easy for the reader to move on from one point to another; the transition would be smooth and easy. You will never lose your readers attention as well as the point and direction to where the article is pointing. A good note, bold your sub-headings.

4. Provide a good attention-grabbing title or header.

I think I have mentioned this before in my older posts, and its importance. If your title can entice a person’s curiosity you’re already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your articles content but should also be short and concise. If possible, use numbers in your headers.

Use titles like, “Top 10 Tips on Making Her Want You More”, or “How to Make $700 In 7 Days!”. You could also use titles that can command people, for example, “Make Her Yours In 6 Easy Fool-Proof Ways”. These types of titles reach out to a persons’ emotions and makes them interested.

5. Keep your readers interested from the start to the finish.

From your opening paragraph, share your real life experience or situations that can help your reader relate to you. Use good description and metaphors to drive your point in, but don’t over do it. Driving your examples with graphic metaphors and similes can make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. And this makes the reading experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them.

6. Utilize figures when necessary and not just ordinary and insipid statements.

Using specific facts and figures can heighten your article because it makes it authoritative. But do not make it too formal, it should be light and easy in them and flow.

In Summary

Articles have been the cornerstone of websites, blogs and will continue to be so into the future. People are always looking for quality information in this Information Highway called the Internet, that benefits them, enrich and empower their lives and sometimes, you might not know… it could help someone in their life for really good.

Take Care and God Bless and see you soon!
